The Weight, Hypnotherapy and You (WHY-Weight Reduction Program)

This programme is based on actual clinical experience and published research on the efficacy of hypnotherapy as a viable tool in weight management. This program will help you stay motivated and on-track with your food and exercise plans while working at your own individual pace. It is perfect to use alongside your existing weight loss or maintenance program, such as Weight Watchers or Slimming World. It is perfect to use as a stand-alone program.

I imagined that I could help people who were overweight (or obese) achieve the weight they wanted to be. I imagined I could offer them a proven program for weight reduction, incorporating my skills in hypnotherapy. I imagined making a significant difference to the lives of these people, who, because of their weight problems, run the risk of life-threatening diseases and struggle with self-consciousness, embarrassment, restricted movement, and social stigma. I imagined the rewarding feeling of seeing my overweight clients getting slimmer and healthier! I imagined getting that gratifying feeling of hearing a now slimmer client say, “ You helped me so much. You helped me find my motivation. I really couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you.”

This is what is happening now since I perfected the Weight, Hypnotherapy and You (WHY) Weight Reduction Program.

Let me tell you a story...One of my most gratifying experiences occurred with Joe B. Joe walked into my clinic for his first appointment weighing probably more than he should. He was clinically obese. He had a likeable personality, yet lacked self-confidence and was not particularly well dressed or groomed. He wanted to join the Army. His problem was his weight. He could not get in unless he could reach and maintain a healthy weight.

I conducted a few hypnotherapy sessions with Joe, based on my ideas for the WHY Weight Reduction Program. He began to change his eating habits and exercise more and said he was starting to lose weight. He had practised self-hypnosis in between sessions as well as listening to one of my CDs to help with his motivation and change his eating habits. At the end of the sessions (8 in total), I said goodbye to Joe as he had made fantastic progress. He was now in control of is eating habits.

It was sometime later, about 18 months, when he phoned me and asked if I remembered him, stating that he had come to me for weight reduction. I did remember him, but the initial image in my mind was of the overweight, awkward guy who came to see me. He asked me if I would work with him again as he would like to lose a little more weight and work on his motivation for a Crossfit Competition he had signed up for.

When he walked through the door, the following week, I was completely astonished. He walked in proud, brimming with confidence, well dressed, and the build of an athlete. When people who are overweight reach the weight they envision, it truly transforms every aspect of their lives, and knowing you had a hand in this transformation, is one of the most satisfying and rewarding experiences you can have as a hypnotherapist and weight loss practitioner.

What I had used with Joe B was a structured, yet flexible, hypnotherapy program that I am now making available to you, or anyone who is struggling with obesity, and the challenges of a chronic weight problem. It is a tested program that can produce results!

You are now encouraged to consider how this can work for you. This is a working model that can be modified and improved upon according to my clinical judgement and your own personal needs.

All though no therapeutic program works for everyone, much of the success of the program rests in my skills as an hypnotherapist, and the motivation of you. The program will help you; stay motivated, get the results you want, deal with stress and emotional eating, and make lasting changes to your mind and body.

The Story of The Red Tea Detox (Is this the secret recipe for losing weight?)

I came across this recently and thought it was an intriguing story worth sharing. It’s about a life-changing event that occurred while in Africa; a Shaman at a local tribe saved a woman’s life. She was already a world-famous Naturopath and nutritional author when she found time to go on a holiday to Africa. While she was out exploring, she was bitten by a poisonous Rattlesnake and fell unconscious. What happened after that would change her life…..forever!

The only side effect she noticed was increased energy and weight loss. Not drastic unsustainable weight loss, but weight loss that can be sustained. She also noticed that she did not have hunger pains and other negative symptoms of dieting. This red liquid was a miracle in a goblet.
